Possible Wedding Details

Thus far, information about the upcoming nuptials of Prince Félix and Claire Lademacher are few and far inbetween. The only known hard facts are that the couple will get civilly married on September 17 in the German town of Königstein im Taunus with a religious ceremony to follow four days later in the Basilique Sainte-Marie-Madeleine in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, France.

According to unconfirmed media reports, the wedding will be officiated by the bishop of Fréjus-Toulon, Dominique Rey, with four other bishops in attendance. The same source states that three or four heads of state will be present for the religious wedding.

In addition, rumour has it that the civil wedding will take place at the Villa Rothschild in Königstein. Though it hasn't been confirmed, the choice seems likely. The Villa Rothschild was, as its name suggests, formerly owned by the Rothschild family and opened in the presence of Empress Friedrich and the Prince of Wales in the late 19th century. Now a Kempinski Hotel, it is one of the four possible places were you can get civilly married in Königstein. Claire's father owns another house of the hotel chain, the 5 Star Le Mirador Kempinski, in Switzerland.
